Food & Nutrition Services

The purpose of the Great Valley School District Food and Nutrition Services is to provide the students and school community with nutritious, innovative, and reliable food programs that support the district-wide efforts to foster professionalism, learning, and sustainability. The cafeteria in each of our schools provides both breakfast and lunch options for our students and staff.

Support through the Free Meal Program

We encourage those who may need assistance to apply for the Free Meal Program. If eligible and in addition to meal support, your family may qualify for additional savings on school activity fees, athletic fees, or technology fees.

USDA Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder

USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed – whether during summer break or unexpected closures during the school year. Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost. Families can use this tool to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information. Download the documents below for more information.
