As schools and children have become more complex, a greater need exists for help and support beyond that provided by the regular staff. In Great Valley School District, we believe that the more opportunities that exist for a student to connect with a caring adult, the better the chance he/she will feel safe in school. Volunteers increase the likelihood that every child will make that connection.
