    Don't trust everything you read on the Internet!  Some times you can come across websites with incorrect or misleading information.  Use the following tips to make sure you have good information.
    • Use common sense
    • Use reliable sources--try to find information from trusted sources like museums or universities.
    • Double check your information.  See if you can find your research in more than one location on the Internet. 
     
    Sometimes people create websites with intentionally false and misleading information.  These websites are called hoax websites.  You can see some examples of hoax websites below.
