A HEART (Honoring Excellence, Achievement, Resilience, and Teamwork) Award is presented to a GVSD staff member who has demonstrated excellence in their role and embodies the qualities that make Great Valley exceptional. This recognition celebrates individuals who consistently go above and beyond in their daily work, showing genuine care for students, colleagues, and the broader school community. |
Any GVSD staff member can be nominated for a HEART Award! From bus drivers who start our students' day on the right foot, to teachers in the classroom, to our friendly cafeteria staff, we know it takes ALL of our Great Valley staff members to make our district great! |
Anyone can nominate a GVSD staff member for a HEART Award! Parents, students, fellow staff members, and the broader community are welcome to submit a nomination. |
There is no deadline to submit a nomination! HEART Award nominations are accepted continuously throughout the school year, with recipients recognized monthly. |
CCHD Fall Vaccination Clinic
The Chester County Health Department is hosting a Fall Vaccination Clinic, and registration is officially open! Community members are invited to schedule an appointment to receive their flu and COVID-19 vaccines.

5/6 Center Teacher Lisa Freeman Receives Phillies All-Star Award!
Congratulations to Great Valley 5/6 Center teacher Lisa Freeman, who was honored as one of the Phillies All-Star Teacher Award recipients! The Philadelphia Phillies recognized 10 exceptional educators from across the region during their Teacher Appreciation Night on Friday, May 2.
Mrs. Freeman was nominated by her former student, Justin, who wrote a compelling essay detailing how she has made a profound and lasting impact on both her students and the entire school community.
We are incredibly proud to have Mrs. Freeman representing GVSD and shaping the bright futures of our students!
ClassLink Now Available for All GVSD Families
The ClassLink platform is now available for account registration for all families. As a reminder, ClassLink is a single sign-on (SSO) platform that provides teachers and students with access to all online teaching and learning resources in one place. Please find important details below.

The ClassLink Family Portal offers a single point of access to many of the frequently used applications and sites at GVSD, such as InfiniteCampus, Canvas (for grades 5-12), Seesaw (for grades K-4), and more.

The portal will be a tool for managing logins for your online GVSD applications in one location.
