This is my sixteenth year teaching 8th grade Language Arts at Great Valley Middle School.  I have also been a member of the Star Team and involved with the poetry program for our annual MS Arts Night.  It is a dream job to introduce students to my favorite book, To Kill a Mockingbird, read their poetry, and celebrate their growth as readers and writers. 

     At York College, I earned a B.A. in Education and a B.A. in English.  I have a Masters in English literature from Villanova University. I enjoy reading British literature, the New Yorker, and poetry.  

    My daughter Josephine is the light of my life.  We like to cheer for the Pittsburgh Penguins, take our basset hound Sherlock for short walks, and sing together.
