GVHS Senior Activity Schedule Class of 2022
Saturday, May 14h
Senior Prom – 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm – Franklin Commons, Phoenixville.
Students are expected to arrive at the prom site no later than 7:00 pm. Students who choose to leave the prom before 10:30 pm should have discussed their plans with their parents. We remind you that all school rules & policies will be enforced during this school-sponsored event as outlined in the Student-Parent Handbook.Thursday, May 26th
Senior obligations payments due – All obligations must be cleared before a cap & gown and tickets are issued.
Wednesday-Friday, May 25th, 26th, &27th
Cap & Gown and Commencement Tickets pick up by students – during all lunch periods, outside of the cafeteria.
Thursday, May 19th
Awards Presentations – Awards presentation videos will be viewable through links, which will be on the front page of the High School website (http://www.gvsd.org/gvhs) at 7:00 PM. They will remain there until graduation.
Students being honored with an award will receive notification prior to May 19th.Wednesday, June 8th

Baccalaureate Program – 7:00 pm – GVHS Auditorium. Attendance is optional. The Baccalaureate is a program sponsored by senior parents and students.
Thursday, June 9th
Mandatory Commencement Rehearsal – 10:00 am to 12:00 pm –Valley Stadium. All seniors who plan to participate in Commencement must be present for rehearsal. Seniors must arrive promptly at 9:30 am to check seating charts that will be posted inside the entrance to the stadium.
2022
Friday, June 10th
Commencement – Valley Stadium – The program will begin at 6:30 pm. Seniors must be in their assigned rooms no later than 5:30 pm

GVHS issued Cap & Gown
Honor cords, NHS stoles and military stoles, if appropriate. Dress, with robes, should be “business casual.”(white shirts, ties, long pants, dresses, socks and dress shoes are appropriate with the cap and gown)
*Students may not wear shorts, flip flops, athletic shoes, or jeans. Reminders:
Handicap seating is available upon request. Each person requesting a handicap seat may have a guest sit with him/her. Handicap seating does use one of the graduates six tickets, or two, if there is a guest sitting with them. Please contact Ms. Ann DiMedio, Principal’s Administrative Assistant, to make a reservation (610)889-1910 or adimedio@gvsd.org). Please note that you must make a reservation by Wednesday, June 8 to be placed on the list and admitted to the handicap section.
Each guest who enters Valley Stadium will need to possess a numbered ticket, which graduates will receive when they pick up their caps and gowns on May 25th, 26th, or 27th.
Six tickets will be issued per graduate.
If a student’s family does not need all six of their tickets, they may give their extra tickets to another family. The high school main office will not have extra tickets.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held on June 11th at 11:00 am.
The ceremony will also be live streamed, and a link to this broadcast will be on the front page of the High School website (http://www.gvsd.org/gvhs) on the day of graduation.
HOMEROOM TEACHERS WILL DISTRIBUTE DIPLOMAS IN VALLEY STADIUM DIRECTLY AFTER THE GRADUATION CEREMONY.
