Virtual Learning Schedules (revised in May, 2021)

  • As we transition to more in-person learning for some students, we also examined our virtual learning program. Our goal is to ensure that as students in school are provided time to delve more deeply into content in the classroom, our students who are learning virtually are also provided increased time for a deeper exploration of content.

Virtual Schedule: Grades K-1

Virtual Schedule: Grades 2-5

  • 2 to 5 virtual schedule

Kindergarten/Grade 1 Information

    • Areas highlighted in light blue represent revisions to the current virtual schedule.
    • Students will participate in small group instruction for English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, as they have been.
      • 3 times per week for ELA
      • 2 times per week for Math
    • Students will continue to meet for an individual conference (5-10 min) weekly with their teacher.
    • Students will also continue to meet individually with their teacher on an as-needed basis.
    • Students will continue to learn asynchronously through learning activities and assignments on Seesaw and by using materials provided through the virtual supply pick-ups.
    • There are 45 minutes of additional whole class synchronous instruction time in Reading and Math on Mondays. As a result, and to provide a developmentally appropriate balance of synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities, the amount of asynchronous learning assignments may be reduced.

Grade 2 - 5 Information

    • Students’ individual conference times with the teacher (5-10 min) will occur every other week.
    • Students will continue to meet individually with their teacher on an as needed basis.
    • Students will continue to learn asynchronously through learning activities and assignments on Seesaw, OneNote, and by using materials provided through the virtual supply pick-ups.
    • There are 105 minutes of additional whole class synchronous instruction time in Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Studies/Science on Monday. As a result, and to provide a developmentally appropriate balance of synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities, the amount of asynchronous learning assignments may be reduced.
