Hello! Thank you for visiting my website and welcome. As you may already know, General Wayne Elementary School is a fantastic place to be and it has been my pleasure to be a part of this community as a school counselor since 2005. My educational experience includes a Master’s in Educational Counseling from West Chester University and a Law Degree from Villanova (the law degree came first...life is indeed a journey!). While my school counseling certification is for grades K-12, working with elementary students, their teachers and their families is where my heart is. Prior to working in schools, I worked as a mobile therapist and behavior specialist in homes with children and families.
Along with this professional experience, my personal experience as a mother of four children (all Great Valley graduates) emphasizes the importance of family and makes working with GWES families relatable and rewarding. Parenting is a large umbrella of responsibility which can feel overwhelming at times and my goal is to ensure our families feel supported during their elementary school experience.
As the school counselor, I enjoy supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of all of our students so that they can best access their learning style and have a successful outcome at school. I look forward to getting to know and supporting all of the students at GWES! If we have not met, please feel free to stop by the office and say "hello".
