Classroom Rules and Expectations
Here are our classroom rules. In addition to following the Six Pillars of Character (respect, fairness, caring, trustworthiness, responsibility, citizenship), the students are expected to do the following:
1. Respect each other.
2. Raise your hand to speak.
3. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4. Complete homework on time.
5. Always try your best.
Homework is assigned each night, and the students are expected to record all assignments in the assignment book. A parent/guardian should sign the assignment book each night in order to stay informed about daily assignments. Homework should take approximately an hour. A missing homework slip will be sent home for incomplete homework.
Students will be given approximately two weeks to complete long-term projects. Parents/guardians are required to sign the project directions when they are distributed in class. Points will be deducted for projects that are turned in late.
Missed Work Due to Illness:
Parents/guardians may pick up missed assignments each day in the front office. Please request homework in the morning when calling your child out sick.
