  • ____________ Mr. Mark Cellini

Hello!  My name is Mark Cellini, and I am so excited to be working with all of you this year!

I grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from West Chester East High School.  I went on to study Music Education at West Chester University.  At WCU I was a member of the Honors College and participated in many different performing ensembles, including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Mastersingers Choir, and various chamber groups.  I graduated West Chester University with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education as well as a minor in Music History.  I recently completed my Master's Degree in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah College in Grantham, PA.

This is my 6th year at GVMS, where I teach 6th and 8th grade General Music, String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra.  I also direct the Pit Orchestra for the GVHS Musicals and co-direct the Chester County Youth Orchestra outside of school.

When I'm not teaching, I love to perform (both singing and playing my cello), read, and cook!
