Hello!  My name is Mark Cellini, and I am so excited to be working with all of you this year!

I grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from West Chester East High School.  I went on to study Music Education at West Chester University.  At WCU I was a member of the Honors College and participated in many different performing ensembles, including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Mastersingers Choir, and various chamber groups.  I graduated West Chester University with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education as well as a minor in Music History.  I completed a Master's Degree in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah University and recently began a Master's Degree in Music Education from Eastern Illinois University.

I have worked at GVMS since 2013 where I teach 6th-8th grade String Techniques, 6th-8th grade General Music, String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra.  I also co-direct the Chester County Youth Orchestra outside of school and am an assistant conductor for the Immaculata University Symphony Orchestra!

When I'm not teaching, I love to perform on the cello, take photos, read, and cook!
