Reader's WorkshopDuring Reader's Workshop, students will be taught various reading skills and strategies. Students will listen to a teacher-led mini-lesson, read independently and share their learning with others. During the workshop time, students will meet with Mrs. White, one-on-one, to confer about the book they are reading or receive small group instruction around a specific reading skill or strategy. Students demonstrate an understanding of their learning by interacting with books on their reading level. Understanding is demonstrated through individual conferences, small group work, post-its and reading journals.
