Grading Policy

The Middle School Art Department grading policy is broken down into two weighted categories: Formative and Summative.

      The Formative Category consists of Notes and Rough Drafts and is worth
      25% of the student's total grade received in art.



      The Summative Category consists of all the studio projects and is worth
      75% of the student's total grade received in art.

Here is an example of the Skyward grade book for a 6th Grade art student:
