Mrs. Joy Deminski is in her 16th year teaching instrumental strings at Great Valley S.D. She has her B.S. in Music Education and Masters in Music (Viola) Performance, both from West Chester University. She is passionate about teaching young musicians, particularly on string instruments. She believes it is important to give each student an opportunity to enrich their lives through music, learning an instrument and performing with others.
Mrs. Deminski is a founding member, violist and current manager of the Appassionata String Quartet (also known as ASQ). We play a variety of music for weddings, corporate events, private parties and more. When she's not doing something music related, she is spending time with her husband and 3 boys (8 year old twins and 6 year old). :)
