  • Student Council Fundraiser

    Each classroom received a collection box for our new Student Council Fundraiser. The fundraiser will run from Monday, January 7th until Friday, January 25th. This fundraiser will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and help people with different blood cancers. All you have to do is collect coins and put them in your classroom’s collection box. Your child will also come home with a form on how to donate online. The classroom with the most money collected during this time will win a $50 gift card to Amazon to purchase books for the classroom!

  • Long-Time Administrator to Retire

    Charles E. Linderman, Director of Business Affairs for the Great Valley School District, announced his retirement in November 2018, following a nearly 40-year tenure in the District.

  • School Board Approves 2019-2020 District Calendar

    At its meeting on December 3, the Great Valley Board of School Directors approved a District calendar for the 2019-2020 school year.

  • District Names Wall of Fame Inductees

    As part of its Homecoming celebration on Fri., Oct. 19, the Great Valley School District inducted four outstanding alumni to its Wall of Fame. Wall of Fame Inductees for 2018 are: Mike Green (Class of 1970); Tony and Debbie DiAntonio (Class of 1974 and Class of 1975); and Celeste McMichael Rolfing (Class of 1976).

  • Speaker Series Returns for 2018-19 School Year

    The GVSD Speaker Series returns in the 2018-19 school year. Once again designed around the theme of creating safe and healthy school environments, the series is open to the Great Valley community and offered free of charge to those who choose to attend. Considering Full-Day Kindergarten

  • The District has initiated a process to consider the implementation of a full-day kindergarten program in Great Valley. The process will include a careful study of research, an examination of impacts (financial, facilities, and educational program), and opportunities for parents and community members to provide input and feedback.
