• Response to Intervention and Instruction (Rtii) is daily reading instruction for first and second graders utilizing a tier structure to address the individual needs of our students. 
    • Instruction is delivered daily for a half-hour in small groups
    • Instructional groups are flexible
    • Student progress is monitored regularly
    • All instructional materials are researched-based and delivered with fidelity
    •  Parent support is key to the program's success
    All students are assessed at the beginning of each school year to determine their initial tier placement and are then given targeted reading instruction to meet their individual needs. Student progress is monitored throughout the year using different assessments that measure reading skill development.
