My name is Ms. Maggie Bird and I am very excited to be your child's first grade teacher! I look forward to learning more about your child this year in first grade. Here is a little bit you should know about me! 

I graduated from West Chester University in 2021 with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education Pk-8. This will be my second year teaching first grade.

I grew up in Doyelstown, Pennsylvania and spent my summers down at the beach in Margate City, New Jersey. I am one of five children, falling fourth in line. Growing up with 2 brothers and 2 sisters, there was always someone to play with and something to do. We love spending time together outdoors, either at the beach or on the ski slopes. My family recently welcomed a new addition, our yellow lab, Daisey. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, riding my bike, dancing, and watching the sunset. I also love trying new foods, especially pizza! I am currently on the hunt for the best pizza place in Malvern! 

I am so lucky to have you all as my students this year. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
