    We encourage those who may need additional assistance to apply for the Free or Reduced Price Meal Program. If eligible you may qualify for additional saving for school activity fees, athletic fees, or technology fees to fill out an application at www.schoolcafe.com. An approved application provides benefits for your family beyond the school lunch program. You can also view detailed instructions through SchoolCafe.

    Who is Eligible for Free and Reduced-Priced School Meals?

    • Children in households with incomes at or below 130% of the federal poverty level are eligible for free school meals.
    • Children in households with incomes between 130% to 185% of the federal poverty level are eligible for reduced-price school meals and can be charged no more than $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch.
    • Children in households participating in the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program(SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families(TANF), and the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations as well as foster youth, migrant, homeless, or runaway youth, and Head Start participants are "categorically eligible" for free meals.
    • Children from families with incomes above 185% of the federal poverty level may purchase a "paid meal."
