2022 TRYOUTS:
- 8th Grade Tryouts: Tuesday, August 30, 2022 and Wednesday, August 31, 2022
- Only 8th graders will attend these 2 days.
- Meet outside of the dining room at 2:45PM, dressed and ready to go.
- Bring water, soccer ball, cleats, shin guards and running shoes.
- There may be cuts depending on the number of 8th graders trying out.·
- 7th Grade Tryouts: Thursday, September 1, 2022 and Friday, September 2, 2022
- Only 7th graders will attend these 2 days.
- Meet outside of the dining room at 2:45PM, dressed and ready to go.
- Bring water, soccer ball, cleats, shin guards and running shoes.
- There may be cuts depending on the number of 7th graders trying out.
- Evaluations and Expectations:
- Player evaluations and how to train: We will use this as a guideline to evaluate players. Ideas on how to prepare for the season during the summer are also included.
- Expectations Once You Have Made The Team: We will go over this as a team after tryouts are completed.
- Paperwork Needed to Play: All paperwork should be completed online through FormReLeaf
- Complete all sections/info.
- Section 7 of the PIAA form needs to be signed by a doctor, scanned, and then uploaded to FormReLeaf. If this is a problem, bring the signed section 7 to the GVMS office.
- The emergency card is also in FormReLeaf. You do not need to print like in years' past.
- The Athletic Fee is $95 (paid by 1st scrimmage). Check made out to "Great Valley Middle School" and turned into the GVMS office.
Daily Practice Schedule:
- 2:50PM-4:40PM
- Pickup is at 4:45PM.
Game Schedule:
- 8th grade Soccer schedule on DigitalSports
- 7th grade plays after 8th grade. They follow the same schedule as 8th grade unless otherwise noted/communicated.
