7TH & 8TH GRADE BOYS' SOCCER
2022
1. Please fill out this form if you are planning to play soccer in the fall.
Player Contact Form (Sign in with office 365 username and password once you open the Player Contact Form.)
2. Paperwork Needed to Play: All paperwork should be completed online through FormReLeaf
- Complete all sections/info.
- Section 7 of the PIAA form needs to be signed by a doctor, scanned, and then uploaded to FormReLeaf. If this is a problem, bring the signed section 7 to the GVMS office.
- The emergency card is also in FormReLeaf. You do not need to print like in years' past.
- The Athletic Fee is $95 (paid by 1st scrimmage). Check made out to "Great Valley Middle School" and turned into the GVMS office.
3. 2022 Tryouts:
- 8th Grade Tryouts: Tuesday, August 30, 2022 and Wednesday, August 31, 2022

- Only 8th graders will attend on these 2 days.
- Meet in Mr. Brogan's Room, room 213, on the 1st day at 2:45, dressed and ready to go.
- On Day 2, we will meet outside.
- Bring water, soccer ball, cleats, shin guards and running shoes.
- There may be cuts depending on the number of 8th graders trying out.

7th Grade Tryouts: Thursday, September 1, 2022 and Friday, September 2, 2022
- Only 7th graders will attend on these 2 days.

4. Evaluations and Expectations:
- Player evaluations and how to train: We will use this as a guideline to evaluate players. Ideas on how to prepare for the season during the summer are also included.
- Expectations Once You Have Made The Team: We will go over this as a team after tryouts are completed.
5. Daily Practice Schedule:
- 2:50PM - 4:40PM every day that we are in school and do not have a game.
- Pickup is at 4:45PM.
6. Game Schedule:
- 8th Boys' Soccer schedule on DigitalSports
- 7th grade plays after 8th grade. They follow the same schedule as 8th grade unless otherwise noted/communicated.
