  • What happened to the half days that were originally scheduled in October and December?

    Posted by:

The 2020-2021 District calendar was amended at the end of September to remove the half days that were originally scheduled on October 21 and December 23. These will now be full days for students. As we move to a hybrid learning model for some students, this ensures that students on both "A days" and "B days" receive the same amount of instruction.

  • What is the schedule for the first few weeks of school?

    Posted by:

Because Monday, August 31, is the first day of school, and because it is a 4-day week for the holiday, there are no asynchronous learning days the first week of school. Monday will be a synchronous learning day. Students should plan to sign in to Teams to connect with the teacher.

The second week of school is also a 4-day week. Monday is a holiday, so the week begins on Tuesday with a synchronous learning day.

Asynchronous Mondays begin on Monday, September 14.

  • How will school events be handled while school is virtual?

    Posted by:

Events are being handled on a case by case basis, and in accordance with Chester County Health Department, PA Department of Health, and Pennsylvania Department of Education guidelines. If an event can be restructured in a way that honors social distancing and health guidelines, it may still happen in person. However, some events will be cancelled or will be held virtually. Your building principal will communicate about school events. The online school calendars will be populated on a month-by-month basis to allow for flexibility in planning and accurate communication.
