Sorry I can't be here tonight (I'm out with Boys' Soccer against Sun Valley in the Stadium). I've put together a short video that introduces me and some of my class expectations, but you can also read my bio here. Mr. McCauley is in his 12th year at Great Valley High School. This year he is teaching Goverment & Economics, Honors US History, and International Relations (he has previously taught gifted support and other Social Studies courses).  Before GV, he grew up in rural Pennsylvania before attending Penn State where he received his Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education: Social Stuides with minors in History and Geography. He also has a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from Villanova and Masters in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes.

Outside the classroom, McCauley is currently the coach of the Quiz Bowl team and the JV Boys Soccer team. He has previously served as a class advisor for the Classes of 2017, 2021, and 2022. McCauley enjoys sports, politics, and music. His favorite teams include anything Penn State, Everton, Union, Phillies, Kansas City Chiefs, Sixers, and Detroit Red Wings.
