How to Evaluate Your Source:

1. Step #1: Check the article's claim with a Fact Checker website. 
   1. Fact Checkers like Snopes.com, Politifact, Factcheck.org, or the WashingtonPost FactChecker can often tell you very quickly if the "facts" your article claim are true or not.
   2. Checking is easy! Just type the claim into google + the word "factcheck"

1. Step #2: Check the authority of your source
   1. Always check the reputation of the source (the author, website, publisher, etc) of the information being claimed. You want to make sure they are reliable, trustworthy, reputable and not known for extreme bias, satire, hoax, conspiracy theories, fake news twisting facts, or failing factchecks.
   2. Checking is easy! Just type the name of the source into google + the word "reputation"
