CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
- Please arrive to class on-time and prepared.
- Begin your bell-ringer activity (usually typing).
- Please submit all course assignments by the scheduled due date. If you are absent, please see me when you return so I can get you up to speed!
- Students are expected to make progress on their typing assignments. While ample time is given in class, students who are falling behind should work on typing at home.
- Have fun!!!
COMPUTER LAB POLICIES
- Understand that the use of technology is a privilege, not a right, and inappropriate use can result in the cancellation of those privileges.
- Use of the technology equipment is for educational purposes only.
- Treat all technology equipment (mice, keyboards, headphones, hardware and software) with care. Vandalism will result in the cancellation of privileges and other disciplinary actions.
- Do not download and save files from the Internet without permission.
- Do not access sites that are inappropriate, not school related, or that could slow our network (online music, online videos etc.).
- We have a filter that blocks inappropriate content, but if you see something inappropriate alert your teacher.
- Keep your passwords private and respect other people's passwords.
- Do not open, delete, move or modify other people's files.
- Keep your hands on your own computer!
- No food or drinks in the Computer Labs.
- No cell phones.
- No plagiarism. Copy, paste, and change a few words is an example of plagiarism.
- Be respectful.
