Las Cajas de Navidad (Holiday Boxes Project)

The students in the HNHS and the Spanish club, donated enough little toys, school supplies, tooth brushes, soap... to fill 9 shoes boxes. They will be sent to children in need around the world. Click to see the picture :-)  HNHS

50/50 Raffle 

THANK YOU VERY MUCH to everyone who participated and supported the HNHS 50/50 Rifa this year. Students collected $472.00 in tickets!!!!

Two lucky winners received each a $25.00 WAWA gift card: Kylie I. and Beth K.

CONGRATULATIONS!

The mission of the HNHS is to give back to the local and global Hispanic community. Through HEIFER International, students purchased an Alpaca and 2 Flocks of Hope (chicks, ducks and goslings)

The society also sent $100.00 to the Fabretto Foundation in Nicaragua. We have proudly supported this educational foundation since the 2013-2014 school year, when the Hispanic National Honor Society chapter was established in our school.

Last but not least, the last $100.00 raised, were sent to a Cuna Jardin (pre-school) in Arequipa, Peru. It is our 3rd year donating to the school, and in the past the money helped repair sections of their playground, purchased school materials and provided lunch for the children.
