    C.           Skills in theKitchen & Nutrition (4 weeks)

    1.            Practice safe-food handling techniques

    2.           Discuss factors that affect food choices

    3.           Discuss dietary guidelines and My Plate

    4.           Develop a basic knowledge of kitchen utensils and working in a kitchen

    5.           Prepare a variety of foods(veggie lab, broiled toast/smoothie, Apple Pie Eggroll, Chicken/Cheese/Quesadillas,  Road-runner pizza, and Stuffed French Toast

    6.           Practice effective “family organization” and leadership responsibilities.

    7.           Recognize the importance of time management skills


    D.          “Me” Banners (2weeks)

    1.            Create an individual project using hand sewing skills

    2.           Examine simple decision-making process used while creating the banner
