• Homework
    (I promise I won't make you feel like this!)
     
    ALL homework is expected to be completed when assigned.  New district homework guidelines for elementary students have reduced the amount of homework assigned nightly.
     
    Reading:
    Read at least 20 minutes nightly in a personal choice book.  Additional assignments, such as journal responses, will be given when appropriate.
     
    Math:
    A math assignment based on the day's lesson or review is given nightly - no busywork here! All problems should show at least an attempt (not blank or a question mark).  This helps me to see your thinking, especially if you need help with a concept. 
     
    Science & Social Studies:
     
    Occasional assignments may include finishing classwork and studying for tests/quizzes.  
     
    Other assignments and projects will be assigned when necessary and appropriate.  Do your best and show me what you know!
