Meet Mrs. Chorney-Manno

Hello and welcome to fifth grade! My name is Mrs. Chorney-Manno and I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade at KD Markley! Here are a few interesting facts about me. I am married to Mr. Manno, who is a musician and hosts band practice at our house. I have two wonderful daughters. Gwen is in high school and Eliana will turn four in November. We also have two adorable cats named Luna and Roxy.

In my free time I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee and soccer. I also love hiking, kayaking and cooking. My family is on a 50 state mission. We are working on visiting every single state. So far we have visited 33 states, including Alaska! I am always looking for travel tips so if you know any great places to visit, please let me know! In addition to being a teacher, I have a college degree in History from Syracuse University. I LOVE to read, solve math problems, do science experiments and teach fifth grade!
