Welcome to Room 106! I am Mrs. Packer and I can't wait to be your second grade teacher! This will be my 11th year teaching at General Wayne. It is my 9th year teaching second grade and I am excited to meet some new friends this year!

I have a degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University and a Masters of Education from Cabrini College where I also earned a Reading Specialist certification. I also have an endorsement for teaching Integrative STEM.

I LOVE to learn! Some of my favorite things about teaching second grade are:

Learning about Native Americans

Solving and writing story problems

Experimenting with air and water

Writing information books

Lots of time to READ!

When I'm not at school, I like to go to mueseums to learn new things. I also like watching Philadelphia sports, cooking and eating Italian food with my family and finding new parks to explore with my kids, Lucy and Charles!

I can't wait to learn about all of you! I know second grade is going to be a stellar year!
