Social StudiesStudents will study 20th century American History this year. Our first marking period topics include Age of Inventions, Immigration, and Progressives. Second marking period topics include World War I, The Roaring 20s, and The Great Depression. Third marking period topics include World War II and The Holocaust, The Civil Rights Movement, and The Cold War. Students will complete several research projects each marking period. In the spring we will take a grade level field trip to Washington D.C. to support the history we will learn this year.Daily materials needed for social studies:
