    Hello!  My name is Jessica Aument.  I am a Great Valley graduate, who was born and raised right here in Malvern. Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to be a teacher.  I obtained my teaching degree from Millersville University in 2003 and began teaching fourth grade at General Wayne Elementary in the fall of 2003.   

    Over the years, I have taught fourth grade in both General Wayne Elementary and K.D. Markley Elementary.  I also taught fifth grade for one year. I obtained my Masters degree in Reading from West Chester University in 2010.

    Education is continuously changing with new theories, strategies and methods.  It is very important to me to stay current in my education, so I will often take courses to keep my ideas fresh and effective.  I decided to take a professional leave during the 2013-2014 school year.  During this time, I completed my Masters +60 credits.

    Aside from continuing my education, I enjoy baking, exercising, spending time with my three nieces and nephew, shopping, and playing with my two cats and three dogs.
