Each year the PASBO-PASA Report on School District Budgets seeks to capture an accurate picture of the financial condition in school districts across the Commonwealth based on their proposed budgets for the following fiscal year.
At its meeting on June 4, the Great Valley Board of School Directors adopted a budget for the 2018-2019 school year. The millage increase of 2.38% is below the allowable Act 1 Index, and makes Great Valley’s 10-year average annual millage increase the lowest among Chester County schools. For the median homeowner in Great Valley, the $105 million budget represents an increase of approximately $100.
HS Art in the 2018-2019 School Year
The District sent a letter to HS families at the end of May about art offerings at the HS next year. That letter is posted here for the community's information. The Great Valley School District is pleased to be able to offer our students a rich arts curriculum and co-curricular opportunities that feed their passions and interests. All of the art courses included in the 2018-2019 Program of Studies will be available to students. See the letter to parents.
