• All of my students this year should check their school email.  There is important information about calculators that may require a response.  If you did not receive the email, please check Skyward postings.  If you STILL do not see it, please email me.

    Thank you!!

Welcome to my web page!  My courses for the 2021-2022 school year are as follows:

    Algebra 1
    Honors Precalculus

Daily assignments will be listed in Canvas.  Note:  When students are absent, they should first check Canvas to find out what they missed.

Algebra 1:  We use Kendall Hunt's Illustrative Math Algebra 1 resources.  There will be a digital copy of all of their in-class materials in their OneNote Class Notebook.  These can be printed out ahead of time or reponses can be entered right in the OneNote.

If you would like more information about the program, please click on the following Padlet link:   https://gvsd.padlet.org/jmest/ccvrhbumnskk2lwg

Honors PreCalculus:  Every student will receive a hard copy textbook.  We will be using digital resources in class, and students are also expected to take notes/complete homework on paper OR work digitally.

     Ways to get extra help:
    1)  Students are encouraged to ask questions during class.
    2)  Students are welcome to send me questions via Teams chat (outside of class time) and I will answer them before their next class (actually ask the question, not just tell me that they have a question).
    3)  Students can make appointments for help from 2:30 - 3pm after school on most days of the week except for Wednesdays.  My available days each week are posted on the side board.
    4)  Students can make appointments for help during homeroom as needed.
