Great Valley Food Service offers a variety of menu selections each day. We believe by offering a wide variety of selections students will be able to select healthy menu choices. Each student must select a minimum of three (3) components and a maximum of five (5) components for the each meal. Students must take a fruit or a vegetable as on component. Please note that a la carte items are not included in the price of a meal. A la carte items such as bagged snacks, ice cream, bottled water and other beverages other than milk are not included.
We are proud to follow the voluntary Nutritional Standards for Competitive Foods in Pennsylvania Schools. These standards were enacted into legislation as part of the School Code for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in order for school districts to voluntarily strengthen the nutritional integrity of their school menus and a la carte offerings.
